Expedia.com Ski Store
Expedia.com, a leader in online travel, needed to redesign their tired alpine ski vacation speciality store. Working within very stringent site specs, the design uses bold imagery, clear hierarchy & layout, rich interaction elements, and skier/boarder specific copy to speak candidly to the target audience. The design was a success, increasing ski specialty store visits, creating a dramatic improvement of visitor to buying customer conversions, offering new avenues for sponsorship revenue and defining a new creative strategy for attracting target audiences.
As creative lead I was responsible for interaction and visual design of the product. I managed a team of two designers over a period of three months.
